Todd and Kallie Hollander celebrating together after a Spartan race

Our Story

A Calling Too Strong to Ignore.

During a difficult season, a deeply spiritual experience renewed Todd's commitment to put Jesus at the center of his life. As he prayed about what came next, one phrase kept returning: Run Fast. Lift Heavy. Praise Jesus.

What began as a personal conviction became something Todd and his wife, Kallie, felt called to build together: a movement where faith, training, community, and service belong in the same life.

Before Holy Hybrid Had a Name

Where It Started.

Todd was fighting personal demons that were getting him nowhere. He was confronting parts of his life that were taking him in the wrong direction and knew something had to change.

During that time, he had a deeply spiritual experience that brought incredible clarity: he needed to place his faith and his relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at the center of his life.

Not long after, the phraseRun Fast. Lift Heavy. Praise Jesus.came to him organically. His renewed faith in Jesus and his passion for endurance and hybrid competition naturally came together.

A Life Shaped by Competition

Built for the Pursuit of Hard Things.

Competition has been part of Todd's life for as long as he can remember. He grew up playing soccer, baseball, football, and rugby. Years later, endurance sports reignited that drive and led him from Tough Mudder and Spartan races into DEKA, half marathons, marathons, triathlons, ultramarathons, and HYROX.

Today, HYROX and ultrarunning are the pursuits he loves most. He knows the discipline it takes to prepare, the desire to test your limits, and the satisfaction of giving everything you have.

Holy Hybrid grew from two decades inside endurance and hybrid athletics, and from Todd's conviction that the strength we build should serve something greater than ourselves.

Anything endurance or the hybrid world, it's been a passion of mine for the last two decades.

Why We're Building

Holy Hybrid Is Just Beginning.

At the end of the day, Kallie and I are normal people with big hearts. We struggle like everyone else, but we care deeply about our family, our community, and the people around us.

I've prayed for a long time for an opportunity to give back on a larger scale. With my faith and Kallie by my side, I believe Holy Hybrid can become that platform.

We know it's going to take a lot of work, but we believe there is a real appetite for faith, fitness, and community. We believe Holy Hybrid can impact people in ways much bigger than ourselves.

That's why we're putting everything we have into it.
